"Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you." (Luke 6:38, NKJV). What is Jesus saying here? What principle of life is He talking about?

So often, how we treat others comes back on ourselves. That is, when we are kind, it

Just heard this on the Christian Radio Station this morning..........I try to let those I give to, especially financially, that I have given it freely and they don't have to worry about paying me back and to not say anything, as it is between God, them and me! We are not to be like the hypocrites who pray loudly on street corners so that others can see them and be boastful! But most of the time God gives secretly to each of us, but we can Praise Him and Thank Jesus, for love, mercy and grace and God wants to hear the praises and thanks of His Children!

When we give to family we just want to hear a thank you from them and to give God Praise and then serve others through Him in their own way!

I also try to be kind to those I meet and speak nicely to them and ask them if I can pray for them? Most have agreed and so I pray and say, May God Bless and go on about my business! Just recently there was a lady sitting in a wheelchair in the Lobby of the Doctors Office Building and was on oxygen! She reminded me so much of Cliff.....I looked into her eyes, smiled and mouthed God Bless you and her eyes shined, she smiled and nodded to me! I didn't feel led to pray for her, but would have if that was what I was supposed to do at the time! I am not ashamed of Jesus and I don't want Him to be ashamed of me! Amen! Our spiritual discerment will let us know when to pray and when to not pray, for many will get upset with you who are serving satan in his evil angriness! Thanks for your post, Martin (SS) and May God Bless! Amen! Betty

will put people in a foul mood and you come along and they seem to take it out on you. But it doesn't always involve you personally. At the Mission where I work the guys coming in off the street don't dislike me but sometimes they give me flak. I don't mean to say that I take it lying down for we do have to uphold the rules. But many times the guy will apoligize the next day to me. I use these times to show the love of Christ in me. Steve in so az

That is great Steve, because I would say their troubles are larger than ours with more pain to bear, but showing them Jesus through kindness, although you also have to stick by the rules, is a blessing to God, for them and also to you! Love one another, as I have loved you.... and love your neighbor as you love yourself, is God's Commandments to His Children! Amen! May God Bless! Betty
