Got out for a hunt after work, and woo-hoo, got an old King Edward 1921 Large Cent, followed by a King George V, then a King George VI. Later on, after a few targets, out came Abe on a Wheat Cent. Too funny..... :)

Here are the old coins with the Famous fellows on them.

Included in the hunt were a couple of older spent 12 gauge shotgun shells. Looks like the good summer targets are showing up.

Like those old Canadian coin. Good digs.

Those old ones don't pop up as much as they used to anymore....

I hear you. I have a few oldies to post up some time also. But they are getting fewer each year it seems, unless I roam a little wider. If I can find one single gold ring for the warden this year in the water, I will be happy. I feel that the pressure is off for me now anyway. I got my first fish and a couple of L.C.'s so I met my new season goal start. Once I get a fish and a largie I can relax for the season. I have some weird desire to not break the link of finding at least one of each, every year since I started.
