Well it was done on Monday about 8 days ago. Doc told the wife and I I should be full weight bearing 5 days after the surgery. I am still using either crutches...if I have to be out for awhile or a cane inside the house. I can put full weight on it but is painful yet. Finally got the wrapping off my leg and now can see where he operated...and looks like 2 small mountains on my knee. Have been follow doc instructions on elevation and putting ice on the knee Go back to the doc on the 10th.
Last night my knee 'locked up' and couldn't seem to move my knee or leg for a minute or two. Never had that happen before. Knee is still in constant pain...maybe 1 or 2 out of 10 but still ever present.
Have not received a single call from the hotel since Jan. 1st. Was given til Feb 1st to be back to work. Job status is unknown.
Pray for Sherry. She has been having some strange problems in her body...almost transient pain in joints - her biggest hurdle are her legs and knees. One leg due to a knee injury a long time ago now wants to angle sideways not forward and back like normal causing extreme pain if she is on her legs for any time at all.
So that is the bad news...thanks for the prayers.
