Kruzer 7.5x4 or 5” round DD?

I have used. 5” round coil on another detector and really like the separation and pinpointing ease. However, I like the idea of getting a little extra scan width with the 7.5x4. This will mostly be to try and wiggle some coins out in higher trash areas or near curbs, walls, etc.

Does anyone have advice? I currently have the 7” concentric and the 7x11.

I have the 7" concentric, 5" round DD and the 5" X 9.5" DD coils. I like the 5" for the absolute worst iron infested sites and then the 7" concentric for it's better discrimination at sites a little less trashy. Then I just keep going up in size as the trash lessens. I don't think I'd have a use for the 4 X 7.5" DD as the others do a good job of covering my site conditions. Seeing as how you already have the 7" concentric, you may want to add the 5" to your arsenal.

Thanks for the feedback. I like the weight and overall balance with the for the 7" concentric on my MMK, but in trash I have to switch back to the 7x11" because ultimately it has better separation being a DD.

With a 5" coil the MMK will be light as a feather!

I have the 5" X 9.5" DD coils on my Nokta FORS CoRe, FORS Relic, Impact and the Makro Racer 2 ,, if they had one for the Gold Racer I would get one

It is the only coil I use
