Kudos to the Minelab 8" coil

Have logged about 25 hrs now with my new 8" Minelab coil. Spot-on pinpointing, excellent depth and I thought good separation in trash, which was confirmed today when I dug a penny 2" from a rusty nail. Thanks to the posters on this forum and the dealers I talked to that talked this coil up, even though they were multi-line dealers. BTW,I bought the coil and lower rod from one of them.
 
Right on JohnA!!!. That excites me that you found a penny so close to the rusty nail, which seems to confirm that it will separate the iron from the higher conductivity items. Thanks for the post, and I'd love to get an 8 inch coil someday. Marc.
