Kudos to XP for the Deus...

I'm not active on here, but a shout-out to XP for the Deus. A while back I sold off a bunch of Canon pro-level lenses in order to fund my insanity moving into metal detecting. I bought a White's V3i...then a CTX3030, and a White's PI Dual Field, then a Garrett 350 for the kids, then the XP Deus...

The XP Deus is the one I keep going back for every time. I love the snappiness in response, the lightness of the unit and I just seem to have a lot more fun with it every time vs. the other machines. And this weekend we hit the kids school playground for a quick dive in the mulch and I found my first gold ring! WOOHOO! It's tiny (~$40 melt value), but it's 14k!

Thanks again to XP, it's nice to see actual updates with additional functionality too! (ahem... Minelab...)

Yep I too have parked my CTX so far this year and have been running just with my Deus.

I don't know if the finds are better because of the machine, or the location, but I've done pretty good so far this year.
