Larami Corp. cap gun

This is a cap gun i found today at my moms house..it is made by Larami Corp...i remeber it was a loud gun i played with as a child..

Pretty small pic that does not get any larger when you open it. Any way you could post a better pic? As far as being loud, I think that had a lot to do with the "caps" made at that time. I know they must have contained a LOT more black powder than today's caps (or do they even still make roll caps?). I remember a box of cap rolls used to cost a nickel and 'loud' was hitting an entire roll with a large hammer.....probably part of the cause of my tinnitus today. I still have my Stallion .38 made in Jacksonville, TX, not far from here, however, they have long since closed their doors.

Roland, i tried to upload a bigger pic but the site would not let me...this perticular gun, if i remember used a cap cylinder, it would shot 8 rounds..

Yep, Digger's got it on the money.......Photobucket is easy to use and it will accept and auto resize any pic. Just make sure you have a separate album for your pics you post, as the entire album can be seen from any pic you post on a forum.

If the cap gun used the "ring" caps with 8 shots, it is much newer than the one I have. Mine dates back to the time when roll caps weren't even perforated and the charge was large enough to throw out quite a flash, not to mention loud.

It is a great find, even if you didn't use your detector to locate it!!
