LARGE BATTLE AX I FOUND ON THE RIVER LAST WEEK!:D

GOLDDIGGER

New member
I found this thing last week while I was looking down the river for arrowheads!
I was told it is a Battle AX!
I am not real sure!
It could be a digging tool of some sort!
All I know it is HUGE!
I really do not have room to keep it so I am selling it on EBAY!
I AM NOT ASKING FOR BIDS ON THIS THING BUT HERE IS THE LINK TO IT!
Let me know if you think you know what it is!
And if I should Go ahead and Sell it or find out What it is really worth before I let it Go!

Keith - I found an 1864 token from C.C. Early Co. drygoods and grocery in Brownstown, IN. Was wondering if you have ever seen one or know anything about it?

If you don't know what it is why would you post it and try to get money for it?TO me it looks like a river rock that was washed down by the years of natural wear and tear.

in my opinion ,not likely.much too big.it's also missing the grooves on each side to attach the handle.i'd say it's just a rock.just my opinion mind you,i don't claim to know everything.

Hi Golddigger: before I sold it, I'd take it to a museum and have them look at it. Is it stone? Is it petrified bone? I found a piece similar to that but only much smaller and was told it was a fossilized bone from a large fish of some sort. Can't remember the name. My find was at a beach in North Carolina on the Atlantic Ocean. Get it checked out first. Nice find though. HH Jim
