Large Cents

I haven't posted for a while but have something worthy of a post now. Found my first barber dime in WV. a few weeks ago. Went out to my buddy Kevins yesturday and we went out into a bean field and he found his second seated dime and I found thes two large cents, One is 1850 the other is 1851. We asked ourselve how any one loose these out in an open bean field but maybe years ago it was something else.
He also found two indians and a ring and a braclet in the same field.

Very good find! Love the bean fields. I use an 1875 plat map and look for schools & churches. When you see pieces of brick and pottery BINGO treasure! Oh dont forget fields where fairgrounds use to be.Coins are all over the place. This one fairground field I found Barber dimes laying on top just shining in the sun light.
Enjoy the field
