I have one large, tough, Stainless Steel scoop for sale, it requires a post hole digger handle which I found at a local ACE hardware store, I also found them at OSH hardware. I will not ship handle as it cost more to ship than buying a new one.
This is a great scoop when you are chest deep in the surf and only have one shot at a target before the next wave hits you.
This scoop will recover the small stuff with its smaller holes, the sand passes right through it while most earrings won't.
They make two sizes, this is the larger one. Oh did I say tough...this thing is just about as bullet proof as any scoop I've ever used, but as I'm getting older it is just to big for my needs.
Other features:
1. Wood handle, it will float up when released.
2. The buoyancy of wood handle offsets the scoop's weight when in use.
4. The stainless is food grade so the basket will not rust!
SPECS: Average basket weight is only 3 pounds!
Basket is 9-1/2 inches wide at the top
Basket is 11 inches from back wall to bill.
I'm firm at $140 shipped anywhere in the lower 48, Paypal add $5 otherwise a postal M/O works for me.
P.S. There is a SS mounting bolt & nut for the handle that is not shown in the pic that goes with the scoop.
