HI MY NAME IS JOE IVE BEEN DETECTING FOR TWO YEARS I HAVE THE XTERRA 70 IM REALY HAPPY ITS A GREAT MACHINE.QUESTION: I BOUGHT THE NEW 15 INCH COILTECK COIL FOR XTERRA 70 ANY ADVICE AS TO WHAT SETTINGS FOR BEACH DETECTING.IS IT NORMAL THAT THE NEW EBOOK TAKES A LONG TIME TO DOWNLOAD I NEED ALL THE HELP I CAN GET HAPPY HUNTING.JOE JOEPEREZINDIO@AOL.COM

Hi Dale, I'm not sure what coil you currently have but being that Minelab recommends the high frequency coil for gold and beach detecting, right now the 10.5" HF DD is the largest that Minelab carries in high frequency for the X-Terra. It's not waterproof so that is one thing to keep in mind.
