Last couple days nothing great

Kennedy half 74 next to it is a boy scout button those two were exciting.I think the button more so because they seem to be like finding a ring they just all of a sudden pop up every once in a while.[attachment 33333 DSCN7723.JPG]

Is that a thimble? Might be silver. Nice 1/2 dollar. I haven't found one yet. I did find a 1957D wheat today.
