Greetings,
Went out to a old park yesterday with Krusty. When we hunt together we have a standing bet; $1,00 for the oldest coin. I found $3,05 in clad, three wheats and a 1942 merc, and 58 Rosie. Had Krusty for the oldest coin until, within five minutes he pulls up a 35 Walking Lib and a 1916 Merc. :ranting: Today we went back to the same Park and Sunzabeach joined us. $1.88 clad, one wheat, and the oldest coin 1919 Merc. :smoke: That was the only silver today. A camera is soon on the way. Happy Hunting Grounds,

Savage. (EX-II)

Just for your info Savage, you got the dollar today, but I go it yesterday - same as for this whole last year on average - soooooo that about puts us even for the year don't you think?:starwars:

WAS A GOOD DAY and a park we have hunted many times and is probably one of the most hunted in town - shows the advantage of the Explorers, with their ability to still pull up Silver and other nice finds in "hunted out" areas.

HAPPY NEW YEARS ALL!!!!

Krusty (EX II) :pulltab:

Hang in there Savage, you'll get his dollar soon, it's just the luck of the draw and whose coil goes over it first.
Sorry I missed the Christmas dinner at Chads, wanted to come but just ran out of time and had to get back to Bama earlier than I'd expected because my elderly Mother had a bad car wreck. Scared everybody in the family but she's alright though :)
That 1916 Merc Krusty found might be a key date coin, tell him to check it real good.
Maybe I'll get down that way again sometime in the early spring and we can all do a hunt together.

Happy New Year

Mike

Sorry to hear about your Mother. I hope she will be fine. Krusty's dime was actually a 1916 Barber. I was thinking what if we find a 1916 Merc while we was hunting. I guess it was on my mind when I made the post. Looking forward to a hunt. Happy Hunting Grounds,

Savage
