Last Ghost Town Hunt For 2013

Spent a three hour hunt with my Deeptech Vista Gold and pulled a few more relics from the Civil War era ghost town I've been hunting the past year. Five pistol bullets, including one of my favorites, a .36 cal. teardrop. It was the 847th "dropped" teardrop I've recovered in thirty three years of hunting. Also found a brass rivet, a brass "whatsit" (thought shotgun shell base, but has some writing on it that doesn't seem to match up) part of a harmonica reed and a thimble. Area was quite trashy, but the Deeptech dug zero nails. It's a wonder in nail infested areas.

I think your brass piece is the disc from an oil lantern

Short hunt but some real nice finds! Congrats. Looks like the weather is going to put us on the sidelines for a while
