As much as I feel for these poor folks I hope they start digging into their hoards of dollar coins and spending and losing a few. I wish the Mint would do away with the one and five dollar bills altogether. Would sure make tecting more interesting. Things are going to get real tough for many and I think we are heading into a full blown depression that will last for years.

Probably lots of good deals in the pawn shops right now. I feel for all those people who were taken in by that Madoff guy who got away with $50 billion of his investor's money - wiping many of them out who had their retirement or life savings invested with this rat.
