Last one...flying back into St. Pete.............

[attachment 198501 trip13.jpg] Here we are on our approach back into the St. Pete / Clearwater airport. The round building in the middle with the tilted roof is Tropicana stadium where the Devil Rays baseball team plays. Been there many times.

The whole time we were in Missouri the temps were in the mid-50's with a chance of rain everyday even though it only drizzled a little for the 4 days we were there. Glad to get back home to the warmth and sunshine of Florida. I will say this......it was bright green every where we went. Spring was in full bloom and it was fresh and beautiful every where we went. Oh, and it was neat seeing rocks. We don't get that here in Fla.

.... went through the factory years ago and was amazed at how the Stetson Hat is made. They even have a factory seconds outlet on site. I bought a western style hat for about $20 that would have sold in the hundreds just because the name of the retailer was smeared in the gold hot stamping process on the head band.

Don't know if they still do tours, if they do its worth your time for sure.
