Stopped by the old farm for a quick hunt a few days ago and only added two keepers from the first hunt.
One BIG crotal bell, and a costume ring.

The next hunt I met up with Philo for the first time. We started in an old park that I never hunted before.
My keepers were a no date buffalo nickel, two wheats, a pocket watch frame and a brass ball..

Then Shawano joined us and the first site was overgrown so the finds were few. We then went to an 1800's stone house that produced well.
My finds were 3 Indains, 1903, 1907, 1891, 5 wheats, a 1936 Buffalo nickel, a WWI lead soldier, a piano reed, some critter teeth, and my favorite find was the Post Cereal tag. Post is in Battle Creek which is local to me.

What a blessing to be able to go :twodetecting: with Christian family bro's! And congrats on all the finds! I really like those Crotal Bells and best I can remember, I don't think I've ever found one! Nice collectible tag, too! May God keep blessing with hunting buddies and finds! Amen! Ma Betty

I would like to thank Mike & Tom for inviting me to their neck of the woods to do some hunting. I came to Michigan in hopes of returning back to NY with a Seated Coin... Well, at an old park with houses lining the street that were build in the 1800's. I managed a 1854 Seated Liberty Quarter at 10 inches at the far end of center field of the base ball field. I was surprised to have dug such a gem, even Mike and Tom were surprised with the Seated being dug there. I'll post a pic when I get home. At the other locations I didn't fair well with just a couple of wheaties, but, all in all, I had hoped to have done some hunting on the farm where the fair grounds used to be. Again, thank you Mike, and Tom for your companionship as brothers in the Lord. See you in the spring if the Lord will's it...
