Last two Sunday hunts.

7centsworth

Well-known member
Last Sunday I tried my new coiltek coil out and boy do I like it. I found a indian cent and a few wheat cents and a locket that I had previously missed with other coils. Also found a stirrup and a buckle in this yard. The Indian gave a strange id of 42. I have never had one read that. And this Sunday I found a really nice token and three wheats. I could tell this yard had been hunted before because I found nothing old close to the house. Then once I got aways from the house I started finding some older stuff. The old lady at the house said where I found the good stuff was where her dad used to set under a shade tree and smoke a pipe. Found a nickel that rang up like a wheat penny. This coil ids different but I like it.

I was using my digger coil. Yes I still have two digger coils. And two 9 inch low frequency coils. I need to part with one each.

That is usually the only day I hunt. I usually go after church for a few hours.

That's a pretty cool transit token you got there. I would say that one is really old.

Congrat's on your other nice finds too.
