Last two trips to the beach

Finished work at 3pm,and as its dark here at 5.30 I can get a couple of hours hunting in 3-4 metre swells coming
in at the moment, that makes it good for detecting as the beach is changing continually.Found around $27 in coins
a nice silver chain with St Christopher medallion and two rings the larger ring just has the name "PLUG" embossed inside
and rang up a TID of 12.The smaller ring also has no ID and comes up a TID of 8,both are very highly polished and in great condition
also found and Aussie $2,plus a one pound coin.Spent about 1/2 an hour polishing the coins up on the electric buff (more $ towards my
new sovereign gt)
Hopefully I can get down to the beach again today, low tide is around 4.30pm.....thanks

prob stainless the rings ? they look good and don't rust or attract a magnet so they can be deceiving lot of people wearing them these days they get the bling and not the price tag, still nice finds though always get the heart pumpin, but if in doubt weight is also a good indicator to metal gold just out weighs silver, stainless etc... then if still in doubt get them acid tested at the jewelers?

AJ

Thanks Amberjack,
Yip I think you are right they seem to be stainless,as there is no other ID marks that I can see

no probs Jim, 1st few of these i found couldn't work them out, they pass all the tests except weight then found one had stainless marked on it then the others fell in line, still nice finds have to like them, they shine and don't rust so a class above junk i would say :)
