Hello All,
Last week I went to Alabama and Georgia for something a little different. Hit an old Church in Georgia and found the '60 rosie. The Church had been hit hard, I will go back when I get more time. I then went to Alabama and hunted an old farm house from the 1890's.(about 2 acres) Some work had been done on the site, dirt had been moved around and bulldozed. I worked it for about 14 hours over 2 days. Found the '64 rosie and '45 merc, within about 2 feet of each other. A solid 38 for all three. Lots of nails and iron. The area must have been hit before, I was expecting more old coins then 2. The buckles also came in at 38, I was thinking silver when I dug them up. The square nails were everywhere ringing up 37-40. Had to dig it!!! The corn club token (pin) was from a club started in the 20's or 30's to promote farming. Rang up at 35. Sorry not much of an artist. The ring is .925 and came up as a solid 39 at about 2 inches. The red clay and rocks were tough to dig in.
Thanks for looking,
