Last weeks Omega Civil War finds

First time using my new Omega for CW relic hunting. I hunted 5 days about 3 hours each day. The spot I chose to hunt is an early Union campsite that I found 10 years ago. I had deemed it "hunted out". Prior to the Omega I mostly used a CZ-5 in it. Some of these finds I know for a fact the CZ coil went over. I am loving my Omega more than any detector I have ever used,,,,and I have used many. My settings:
Sensitivity at 99 with very little noise
Disc at 16
Two tones
Ground balance between 58 and 63
here are the finds:

you didn't mention the coil(s) used.

All the best of success on your next foray afield.

Stock 10" elliptical coil. Not yet buying into the cost vs. performance of the 11" DD. I also like the shape of the stock coil as I can get it in between rocks and close places.

Outstanding finds sekypaleo! I just gotta get back out there and try those settings now myself. I can't wait!

Congrats,

The 11" DD on the T[sup]2[/sup] handles those tasks for me, and I can mount the Omega's 11" DD coil if I want to work plowed fields and such with it, but most of my hunting is handled by the stock 10" and excellent-performing 5" DD.

When I first got my Omega, I thought the stock coil would end up sitting in the closet, but I am with you on this Monte, I really like this stock coil. Right now I am trying to learn the capabilities of the 5in DD and really enjoying the stock coil. Txquest
