Here are my finds from my last two hunts...about 3.5 hours total.
1870, 1877, 1874, 1885, 1886 fishscales
1881, 1890, 1906 dimes
unknown large cent
1916 buffalo nickle
token "1815 half penny token...genuine british copper"
one large worn copper
one large worn copper with stamps?
unknown coin, or perhaps a button worh smooth!?
lead bale seal stamped "09" or "60"
British "Royal Reg't of Artillery" 1812 button
Anyone seen anything like the coin with the strange stamps on it!? I've tried to show this in the photo. It appears to be a unicorn like animal with perhaps a small cross of sorts above it!? It is on both sides of the coin, although one side is less visible. Any thoughts!? Or am I imagining things here!?!?
