This year has been the worst for me regarding finds due to the crop conditions.in the UK. At lat on the 6th of October 2012 using my T2 SE on boost after finding several .303 spent bullets I had a Crispus AE3 with the reverse of an Altar as seen minted in London.. The nest day(7th) my Step Son joined me on a Costwold site where I had found a very small Roman site years before. As usual several small late 4th century coins were found but in poor condition. After a while the Sword chape from the end of a scabbard came up almost on the surface. Actualy on the serface by site only as it is bone a gaming counter of the period not often found as the conditions have to be just right.I did find that on this Cotswold brass soil The T2 needed to be set at 60 sensitivity otherwise too noisey. Disc 17 sometimes on 2+ but a lot of the time in boost.I do find that in boost you get false signals that apear good until checking and finding its small iron.I would never change my T2 for any other machine on the market today.
