Latest venture out this past weekend...

V-man

New member
Weather here in New England remains pretty good, so went out this weekend for a few hours... Picked up a few more silvers, an Indian, and a Buffalo... Several Wheaties too... Weather suppose to be ok this weekend as well, so will give it another go. Thanks for looking, V-man

Great haul! Wish I could find that many cool coins in one weekend!:yikes:
WTG!

So did you do some knocking on doors in your hunting?

Nice digs V. Supposed to be 52 degrees here today...so I feel an afternoon of blowing off work is in order.:bouncy:
I do believe Dave and I will be doin' some huntin'.:)

No door knocking yet Rich... Scouring my usual sites... Gonna work on my door knocking pick lines over the winter, whiten my teeth and hope for the best... Maybe I should bring my daughter as a prop, who'd say not to her? :surrender: Now that would be shameless! She'd probably kick me in the shin anyway.

Good luck on the venture out... Swing away until that coil cover wears off... not too many days left this season. :beers:

Not that you care or remember, but it's because of your finds about 10 years ago that made me dump my Whites and get a XS. Still going with the XS and have seen no reason to upgrade. My finds soared with the Minelab XS and still finding goodies.

Just found a spot where we are digging silver dimes at 8 to 10 inch. Depth is almost bottomed out, but the XS is clear and sings them out. We have the spot to ourselves as I am positive that Whites would just pass them by. Pretty sure no locals hunt this place as 'it is hunted out' The wet ground helps - I'm loving it.

In the old days didn't you only hunt at Night?
