Leading of the Holy Spirit..

lately I have been posting on Facebook, here and elsewhere about the things going on in this world - internment camps, etc, etc.

I have come to realize, we as Christians have a 'front row seat' spiritually speaking as God gives us understanding of what is going on in the world - all that has been foretold in the Word and is coming to pass in our lifetime. Attempts at trying to get the blind to see...i.e., trying to get those who don't know God to see what we see is impossible. Those who refuse to see will continue in sin and use rationalization and excuses for they love their sins.

There are those who will accept the truth, those whose hearts are hardened and will never accept the truth and there are those on the edge that God is working with. Telling of all the doom and gloom of America now and to come is not what is needed. People on the edge and those of us who are Christ's need hope and reassurance that God is in control and there is a future - a bright and wonderful future for those who love God.

God has been working on my heart and the heart of many others to speak words of hope, love, faith, God's promises, etc. and to abandon the doom and gloom. America has been worshiping the idols of Baal and practicing the idol worship sacrifices of old times. I did not see that until this morning. (Listen to Focus on the Family podcast of 'Men and Purity 2').

So what I am saying is I will not be posting about the terrible things going on in this world. Jesus has overcome this world and we are His. I will be posting what the Holy Spirit puts on my heart. God bless us all.

Thank you, Bro Pete, for your very good post and, yes, all the news that people see or read is doom and gloom, but in Christ Jesus we have hope and eternal life in His presence forever more! True Christians are in the world but not of it....and aren't partakers of its sins! God Bless! Betty

Greetings, Pete!
As the Holy Spirit leads and as we carry the compelling forward, lives are affected. Mine has been by your post. Though I still know there's MUCH to rail on about things in this world, I too shall pray them away, and continue to attempt to be a light in the stifling darkness, instead of just another voice of fear and contempt. Our energies should be in proclaiming the Gospel to a lost people in an evil world. Complaining is self-satisfying, nothing more. THANK YOU for the post, brother.
