Learned something else today between ORX and Deus

Most of you probably already know this but this in news to me. Ok so I pieced together a Deus set up. I just received my WS4 headphones today. I already knew it was not interchangeable between the 2 machines.

So the WS4 and WS5 headphones for the Deus pair up to the coil itself. It seems like after I programed one serial number into the headphones and once I did that my HF coil was there as well in the same slot as it is on my remote. I found that interesting.

So the Deus headphones pairs to the coil and the ORX WS 2 headphones pair up to the ORX remote.

Now maybe you guys can help me out a little here with another question.

I have saved 2 custom setting programs of my own into my Deus remote. Since doing so, can I just drag along my WS4 module with me into the field and turn it on without the remote and will my 2 custom programs be there at the 11 and 12 slots on the WS4 module?

Yes, your remote will update the headphone puck but you have to use the remote and headphones in conjunction with each other before that happens. If you updated to the 5.21 version, the headphone will have expert settings that they didn't normally have.

Well it already has that update in them already as the fellow did that to them before I purchased the ws4 from him. So I can just take the puck with me as well and swap them into my ORX WS2 headphones if I wanted to and run my own custom programs!! Now that is so cool too. It is basically like a Deus lite set up then
