Hi all!
Have been playing around with my brand new T2 now for about a week and trying to learn the basics of the machine. (Must say that I am a newbie to metal detecting.)
The machine looks great, it's light weight and it pulls targets! Have been trying it out mostly on small lawns near beaches.Since I am pretty new to metal detecting and have nothing or little experience in operating a detector I must say that the T2 feels right for me. I have been digging many coins and watches the first day.So even for a newcomer this machine is not difficult to master or at least the basics of the machine. What is more difficult is to master the machines language..but after a few days (after digging a lot of thrash) you will begin to understand what the machine tells you. Maybe I began with one of the most difficult places, since the ground is full of pulltabs, foil and other trash items. But I feel that I am getting there. Sometimes it's hard to separate the good signal from the trashy ones, and it seems that many norwegian coins have different ID's than American ones. Trying to figure it out. In the week end I will go on relic hunting in more quiet places without all the trashy ground...anyway I see that it takes skill to master a machine to the fullest but I'm willing to learn so I am glad forums like this exist
I'll keep you guys posted. Good hunting all!
Regards
Roar
