Learning the Deus - First silver this year, actually 8 silvers!

The weather here in Western PA is finally starting to cooperate a bit. Have been out a few times with the new Deus and doing a lot of reading on the net. Lots of reading. Trying to learn the new machine.

I found my first Indian Head Penny the other day and today went to a new place that a bit of research turned up. Within 5 minutes I had my first Merc. An hour and a half later I had 3 Mercs (42, 43, 44), 3 Rosies (53, 56, 5:geek: and 2 Washington's (42 & 50). Dug one clad quarter and 5 lincolns along with 3 Wheats.

I think I am making progress!

Using a combination of programs. Today I used the GM Power factory program and then switched over to one of Andy's Coin programs. Everything worked well today. Not much trash except for the usual pull tabs.

Glad to see the weather is finally letting you get out and it looks like you are making up for lost time with your finds . . . 8 silver in a day is a great day in anyone's book!

Congratulations and keep on posting those finds . . . get's the rest of us motivated and outside doing some digging!

Again, great set of finds . . .

Andy
