Sure does, but only at the search mode (i.e., Park, Field, Beach, Goldfield) level, if I recall correctly. As in, if you have Park notched for coins-only (22-27 and 38+ in my area), it's going to be the same for all the freqs under Park, but it carries over different settings in Goldfield mode.
Not everything carries over after powering back on, however -- I always have to switch back over to Ground Indicator on Goldfield each time because it defaults back to Ferrocheck.
