Legend in Goldfields

I don’t thing anyone was upset until you got personal.
I didn’t notice your answer to Woodbutcher’s question.
If you look at other responses I believe you’ll see everyone laughing at you and your brilliant commentary. I better explain that for you. It wasn’t because we thought you were funny.
You have now taken all doubt away. You are simply a troll with no legitimate reason for being here except to try and cause problems. It’s people like you that need to be banned. Jmho
He can't here you he's in time out.

Laplander,
Thank you for keeping an eye on things. I honestly felt bad after I posted my comments. I don’t want to hurt anyone. Whether I feel like they’re deserving or not.
Words are very powerful things and oft times we don’t use our best judgement before saying or writing them. We’re all human. We all make mistakes.
Hopefully the time out will make a difference down the road.
Thanks again, Tom

LOL! With a 6" coil, the Legend just beat the bajeezus out of my Equinox 800 w/6" coil, in the Little San Domingo, of Arizona! Photos to come!
So you are actually on the ground nugget hunting with the Legend? I will be when the snow is gone here in Montana. What is your take on the threshold in goldfield mode?

Actually during the testing phase of the Box 800 by prospector's in Australia.
They did Very well on sub gram gold nuggets using the stock coil. Still on minelabs site.
I would suspect the Legend would do just as well.
Especially with the coming upgrade to the prospecting mode.
So far the Legends updated are providing quite effective.
Yea I'll spend thousands on a Real prospecting machine that Can't run in the trash.
Hell yes I'll take a discrimination machine that will walk circles around a pulse machine in trash.

I started to test the Legend in my yard. I had 1/10th gram up to 5-gram nuggets, high-grade gold specimens, and a 38-gram nugget. All of the below 5-gram nuggets had a VDI of 11. The specimens returned a Vdi of 11. The 38 grammer rang up a 26. I was stopped in my tracks and sort of confused because of the threshold. The threshold tone and the gold tones are different and when the gold tone sounds the disconnected threshold sound continues in the background. When I get a chance I will get back out to play around with it a little more.

Love to hear more of you testing and exploits.
Especially after the coming threshold and gold field updates. An effective VLF machine is always a welcome addition in gold fields.

Great Threshold on the Legend. You can even set the tone of the threshold to match your hearing. Can't do that with my Minelabs. Still using my GPZ though!
I am telling you the threshold is not reporting anything but the constant buzz of another universe. In goldfields mode.

Yeah, I agree, they need to work on the threshold to where it responds with the detection of a target. It just seems like background noise. Not like any threshold I've ever used on any other detector. They are working on this for an upcoming update, as it also doesn't work right with the headphones, Bluetooth issue I heard. They are definitely aware of the problem. I'll be real happy when they fix that.

Nokta takes its dedication to their client base seriously….. I’m sure that they will iron things out in time…
