Lesche Digging Tool Size

Tarot

Member
Hi Everyone

This is a bit of a strange request, but here goes anyway. There is a competition in the UK and EU for detectorists to win a Lesche digging tool, and one of the questions is what total length is the digger to the nearest centimeter.

Not many people own the Lesche brand in the UK, so while searching the internet for an answer I keep coming up with two lengths 12" or 11.5" which makes a difference when converting to the nearest centimeter. I know I could enter both answers but combined with the other question which is UK specific and very variable, sorting out the length will avoid multiple entries.

Could someone who owns one of these diggers please measure the exact length for me.

Thanks for all of the replies so far, and measurements in inches or centimeters are fine as long as they are accurate. Most of you say that the total length is very close to 12" or 30cms, I wonder why KellyCo and a few other sites say 11.5 inches. I did think that perhaps there are some local state laws about carrying a knife with a total length not exceeding 12", and they were made slightly shorter to comply.
