Li-ion battery for goldscan?

Hi,

Sorry for not replying earlier, but a Li-ion battery should be fine. I have a couple here that I have been using with a GS5B. The advantages are lighter weight and higher capacity.

Eric,I just googled the 14.4v Li-ion and got a computer battery that looks about 6x8 in x maybe 1 " deep. Is this the same as you are testing. I there a certain brand or does Bill carry these?

That is way to big!!! I have a Li-Ion conversion on my GS4. It is about 3"x3", a Sony pack, good forr 2-4 hours depending on coil, have quick change connectors, carry another set. Check ot battery websites, like batterysaver etc, put Li-ion in search engine and check sites. Good Luck..Don

Hi Wyndham,

The one I have is 14.8V, 4250mAh and is 4in x 2.75in x 1in, and weighs just 13oz. This will power a GS5 for 6 - 7 hours. Go to www.batteryspace.com to see a good selection of batteries and chargers.

Eric.
