Life is great when spent with kids...

thought and you don't lose much meat at all. Take a small Rapala fillet nice and work from the ribs back, the thin belly bones you miss can be eaten and if you cook it with almonds people don't even know they're crunching the bones you missed ;)

I am glad I took the plunge :) to learn to fillet trout. i was a catch and release person for many years, now with the price and quality of fish these days, I'd rather eat one's I caught.
