i have to say, metal detecting is a release from stress in everyday life.anybody who is depressed should be forced to go metal detecting.the buss it gives you not knowing what you will dig next will cure lots of ailments.i would walk bloody miles to hear that ring ring of a coin underfoot.lol.

I use detecting as a release too. My cares seem very far away when I'm in the middle of a field on a nice sunny day listening to the birds and doing what I love best.

Lots of philosophy on this board lately. Post some pics of what you find.

You are so right, and unlike gambling or drinking, metal detecting doesn't take away anything. In fact.....it gives back. :)

Yeah, you get out there detecting and forget about everything else.
You even find stuff as a bonus. Works for me,

Yes those are good times!

I sure wish I could break away for some of that.

It does help the mind, body, and soul...

I wish my wife would ease up on the honey do lists she is killing me with work here at home and time from detecting...and the weather isn't cooperating however there is storms a brewing!

Tropical storms no Hurricanes please!!!!!!!!

Man to be in love with the one you love the things we do or don't do for it...:inlove:
