Dad and I have been hunting this site for years, where part of a running battle took place on a wooded hill, not too far from where we live. On November the 13th of last year my dad went back out there by himself and located a spot that somehow was missed by other relic hunters, because this is a well known and documented battle site, he hadn't been there long when he dug his super nice James bolt! I went out to this site with him on December 7th, and guess what it was my turn, we both had found a highly sought after round from this area of the Civil War! Dad wrote an article that will be in American Digger Magazine, if anyone is interested in more detail of our story it should be in the May-June subscription of said magazine. Pictures from left to right me, my bolt, dad, his bolt.
Thanks for looking and happy hunting!

Dads was laying flat and not real deep, mine was nose down about 18-20 inches deep and it was a job getting it out. We are both running the XP Deus, awesome machine!

Great job! Thanks for sharing
