[size=large]I Was listening to the reports on the news and they said that many people who were away from their homes when the quake hit, were now trying to get back home to their families. Because of the devastation, debris and damage they cannot drive back. They are abandoning their cars and trying to walk home, in many cases it will take days of scrambling over flooded plains and massive debris piles just to cover the 40-80 miles they have to go. I'm sure there were a couple of you on the forum that secretly laughed at me as I posted the "contingency" survival backpacks I was putting together for each of the vehicles for just such an outrageous possibility... bet some of those Japanese wish they had a pack like this in their car now while trying to walk home in their flip flops or Crocs....
