Lincoln's Birthday Hunt

New member
Went out today to do a little detecting. It is Lincoln's Birthday and I am off. I went to several sites and ended up very tired when my day was over. I had to walk 10 steps and then scrape off 10 pounds of our beautiful Mississippi River clay. I did do quite well today at a old baseball field, college and a home-site next to my home.

Forgot to mention Palmolive Soap Token found near college.

Nice bunch of mercs camb1.:clapping: Nice to see some guys are finally able to get out more and psoting their finds. Gets the rest of us all pumped up and wanting to get out if we are able to. Good luck on your next outing. HH.

Nice set of silver dimes! I also found one of those octogon Palmolive tokens last summer up in Idyllwild, CA.

Good job, Bruce. Six silver dimes is pretty good for a day. I like finding those earlier date Mercury Dimes, at least those before 1940. Not that I mind
finding those from '40 to '45, but there aren't quite as many from the 20s & 30s.
