Local Fish-n Hole...

I got out today for about 2 hours....A high of 41 degrees and winds at about 25 mph....I thought I would hit the local swimming & fishing hole.
In the mix is:
a .57 round ball
a 3 ringer
a .44 colt (?)
some camp smelt
and 2 buttons, there is still some nice gilt on them.
The small one says: SCOVILLS TREBLE GILT (the inner ring: MINT EDGE).
The large one has no writing, but I love it anyway...

Nice finds Mike...you've been doing well with your Diggin. I once decided to hit a fishing/swimming spot that had battle close by. A buddy with 6 hours diggin experience and a cheapy detector, rolls out a piece I must of walked over at least a hundred times while fishing... Pa Drummer Boys ID Disc I say did ya have any luck, after pouching 5 or 6 bullets myself, and he says no just some stupid love charm , but check out this cool horseshoe Beginners luck ya know...lol. Needless to say this was now considered a Diggin spot, and I and everyone I took did very well there. It seems outside the perimeters of the trashy fishing hole had been dug to death but nobody really braved the trash....man if they only knew what we ended up pulling out of there. Long story short...well... stay at it and brave the trash.

got this whole weekend to go.... and after this monday i will have mondays , wednesdays, and fridays give me a call
