Looking for Electroscope long range locator...

I got a demo of the Electroscope Regulator at a local dealer and just have to have one...but these units are so expensive I need to find a used one. Would also consider a Model 301 or possibly a Fieldscope...but really want a Regulator.

If you think you really want a LRL, do more research!!!!!! I think on this Forum or another Forum a poster was really upset, because he believed the demo he saw and felt conned!!!! Don't buy on impulse do more research! I think you can get the same results from two brass dividing rods. Also some people believe they can use a plumb over a map to locate treasure or gold ! You would be better of buy a new detector.
There is another person that offers a $100,000+ reward if they can prove a LRL works! Read this forum be fore spending ant money http://forum.treasurenet.com/index.php/topic,281532.0.html

I made a mistake about the reward, it's $25,000 here is the link ; http://www.geotech1.com/cgi-bin/pages/common/index.pl?page=lrl&file=reward.dat

To be blunt. They have been pretty much proven to be a scam.... read the forum before you buy..

Pretty interesting reading. Thanks

Thanks for the advice!! I guess I would have to insist on another live in the field demo...I know the Store owner, he is a Christian and seems very honest. Told me he uses a Regulator every outing to scout the area first to save time. If this is true then I will just have to suggest a location that I know he is unaware of and invite him out on a hunt...I myself have not worked this property so I have no idea if there is anything there so I would seed the property with 1 gold ring and some silver coins and then have him scout and prove that it works.

I live a block from Lake Michigan and our town and beaches are a huge tourist attraction. There is ALOT of gold jewelry in the ground but it is really deep...well out of the range of my V3i...was looking for another way to try and find these deep targets.

I certainly do not need a better detector, I own 2 White's V3i's....and for some water action I just ordered a Garrett AT PRO, and also ordered a Fisher F2 for my son's birthday...he's about to turn 7 and loves to go hunting with Dad!

If you want depth buy a minelab pulse induction with a 18"+ coil. Or look into some german made 'uber' detectors form OKM.
