General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

Looking for good used detector for son

Instead of a good used machine why not look into a new Garrett ACE 250?! They are a very good machine with target and tone ID, and for the price, $200/215.00 new, you can't go wrong. I own two and swear by them. Hope this helps. HH
 
Thanks to all who sent advice. Ordered the 250. Got it yesterday. First hour out he found several clad coins and a few pennys. Real nice unit for him.

Now for me.....I have been using a White's 6000 di pro series for the last 20 some years. Really like it besides the weight. I am thinking about upgrading. Any ideas? Price range $400-$500. Used or new.

i have the perfect detector for him!..a tesoro silver u-max!..it has seen approx 5 hours usage,and is in as new condition!..it has a lifetime warranty with it!..also comes with tan vynal storage bag,also in as new condition!..200.00 plus 15.00 shipping gets it home!..this detector was bought for my daughter afew years ago,but she never got interested in the hobby!i was hoping she would be my buddy,and accompany me on my hunts,but no she had other plans,and dear old dad hunts alone now!..its ok!..i can take a picture of it if you like!..have to scan it in!,however i can tell you it IS exactly as represented,and if you do not like the condition it is in,send it back and i will refund your money!
