Looking for large cents and found these

ezra

Had a opportunity to hunt a field on a old colonial site that was a cornfield that was chopped down. Several years ago I tried to locate some old coins and relics did not have any luck. Anyway I saw the field was chopped down and contacted the landowner to obtain permission to hunt there again and received permission. Was there maybe about an hour and recovered the crotal bell and about a half hour got another signal. so i dug the signal and i pull out a 1737 2 reale spanish pistareen coin! Needless to say this is my absolute oldest silver colonial coin and its in pretty nice shape. Really hard to believe that I was fortunate and lucky enough to dig this beauty , it just goes to show you never know what your gonna dig ! Ezra.

All I can say is WOW!, very very nice ezra.

Thanks Guys, I got really , really Lucky. Your right Mud , won"t ever get that lucky again. I still love to find the large cents its my favorite coin to find and probably always will be . I had the f75 SE set on boost , sens80 ,disc at 10 and 4h tones. The machine sounded off nice and loud actually I found the stuff on Monday really do not know how to post pictures so I had my wife do it for me. I do not think anyone would believe it without the pictures. Good Luck , Ezra.
