Hope we will be able to hunt.

am heading down tomorrow morning..... do you know where there are some washouts from this storm ?? I usually hunt between belmar and seaside ..... BUT .....will travel further south if necessary..... thanks Gene

Gene, I was in Seaside today and to the left of the pier area there was 4 feet of sand gone, There must have been a houses worth of wood in that area .The boardwalk had 8ft of sand on it in places! I ended up hunting at shore surf club. Not much beach to hunt but I did find lots of coins.silver and a Franklin half too!The far end of seaside where the parking lot is there was little wind at 7:30am would have been a great place to go but the beach was not cut.Tomorrow the waves should give up about 100 ft of beach,

Steve,

My buddy went down Friday and he said the same thing...not a lot of beach. He found a few wheaties, a merc and a V nickel ( first one he found on the beach). He could not get near the water due to all the garbage in it, and when it came up, he said he almost got creamed by a large piece of wood. He said the condos next to the Surf Club had some damage.

We are heading there tomorrow ( Sunday ). Hopefully the low tide surge is not as bad and there is more beach to hunt.

If you are there, and see a guy with a CZ6a and FZ12 coil, its me ( at least that's what I think I am going to use tomorrow !).

John
