Looks like the water detector trade fell through - again -...

Pete in MI

New member
was going to sell it then someone made an offer to trade the Fisher CZ-6 for it and haven't heard from him since. I have a buyer for the water scoop so if that goes through then will have a water machine without a scoop. Oh well. Will try listing it again. Want to get a different coil for the Explorer II and that was going to come out of the original sale of the water detector.

Back to work but only working 2 days a week and on call when the other 3 guys aren't working or on call. I do not understand why there are 4 maintenance guys when there is not enough to keep me busy all week - at 2 hotels to boot. A few good job openings I have found require reliable transportation so until we get a different vehicle will miss out on those jobs.

Hanging in there and trusting God to figure out how to open the job window for me to get to and do other things as He wants them done. Know what I like...and know I have all I need through God.

Thanks for listening to me ramble. God bless you all.

Greetings, Pete!
On the job front, I JUST got back from Brownsburg, IN for a Taco Bell interview! After 3 solid years of writing my book, I've decided to find work to contribute some income to the household and hopefully alleviate the hours my LPN wife Sandie works. WHEN my book gets published could take two years from today. I'm just now looking to impress a literary agent. Anyway, I'm doing alot of pride-swallowing, being that I'm 49 and looking to Taco Bell (I think I may even get this job) for employment, but I'll take whatever comes along first.
Keep plugging and KEEP PRAYING!!!

Taking whatever one can get seems the rule more than the exception these days. Praying things work out for the job God wants you to have and best of wishes on the book to. Next year I am planting a garden somewhere to help with food options.

Think I will talk to the township offices and see if they have property that can be utilized as 'community' gardening areas. Save them some money if they have a field they don't have to cut the weeds and grass down in and gives the community a chance to help themselves too.

Greetings again Pete!
My wife and I were Providentially blessed with this rental property we moved into last April first. There used to be an above-ground swimming pool off the back deck that was removed some time ago and we put in a little-bitty garden soon after we moved in (with landlord's permission, of course) in the space where the pool was. Used a hoe, a pick, a shovel, a trowel and after seeding I said a prayer over it that the LORD God whom we love so much would provide the increase as he saw fit. We've picked a few string beans already, along with a bunch of grape tomatoes, a couple of cukes and are waiting for the corn to ear up. By the looks of things, all kinds of veggies will be poppin' out so very soon, probably too much for us to know what to do with. This is on a plot of land about ten by fifteen feet. GOD WILL provide!!!! Never surrender!!!!
Amen,
Kenn

God will provide, Pete, and don't ever give up by keeping faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, our Provider and Protector! I will be financially stressed with Cliff not being able to live with me but I've had it rough before and by hanging in tough with my Savior and not getting too down from the trials and financial problems He has always seen me through, no matter how dark it gets! Jesus lights up our lives with faith to keep on, keepin' on serving our Heavenly Father! God Bless! Betty
