After spendin most o' the day helpin my neighbor track a deer his son stuck last eve,
i jist HAD to git my coll to da soll in that big penny spot.
I had to clear a bit more o' them flesh rippin wild roses but it was worth it.
Here's #4 seein daylight for the first time since, well....my newest lady so far is 1847.

This is the area where these gals have been at rest for the past 160+ years.
Not very big. I'm standin' on a little hillside with the old stone springhouse, (c.1800), behind me.

I asked my 'partners' if they'd keep watch 'till i git my coll back to the soll on the morrow,
but they jist kind o' looked at each other, gave me a "yeah riight" look and headed for the house.

Here's today's two gals cleaned up somewhat.
I'll give 'em a peroxide soak, then slather 'em up with some vaseline and repost tomorrow.
Hope it takes some crud off and doesn't create any pittin'.

Allthough, i wish i'd stop findin 'em 'till Janet can have a chance to dig one er 3.
She's not gotten one yet iether.
Thanx for the compliment, they are my buddies.
When they're not bein knuckleheads.

I was really happy to see that 10, i started thinkin Flowin hair
but then saw in the book i was a couple o' years off.
So far i've gotten a '10, a '26, '27', '28 and '47.
Maybe there's some older ones there.

I'd love to share this sight and good fortune with someone.
Heck, we can even have a crawdad cook up.
My house is literaly surrounded by 'em and undermined by 'em.
There are literaly hundreds of thier holes all throughout the yard.

i have to bleed to git these girls.
Them wild rose bushes TEAR YOU UP !!!
I'm gonna dress for the occasion......old Saftey Back huntin clothes  ,
and go out there and clear them all out and open up the whole area
so it's a breeze to swing.
'pears i'm gonna need room for the tractor and yard trailer to haul all the copper out :detecting: :wiggle:
Oh yeah, did i meantion that the area is LOADED with them reeeeeeeeal small deer ticks too ?

I've got the '28 soakin now since last night.
Do you soak yours in heated peroxide or jist room temp ?
Should i pick at the crud during soakin or jist let the peroxide work and rinse occasionaly ?

finds of a cache.
Maybe there's silver and gold to be found there also.
