1 Corinthians 13:1-8
Love
1 If I speak in the tongues[a] of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing. 4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 8 Love never fails.

You should get rid of your cold, frozen formality as soon as possible. You need to cultivate feelings of tenderness and friendliness in your everyday life. You should exhibit true courtesy and Christian politeness. The heart that really loves Jesus loves those for whom He died. Just as truly as the needle points to the pole, so will the true follower of Christ, with a spirit of earnest labor, seek to save souls for whom Christ has given His life. Working for the salvation of sinners will keep the love of Christ warm in the heart and will give that love a proper growth and development.

Amen! I found a good reading of God's love and service by listening to the radio at bedtime, sometimes it goes all night on KJSL Christian Radio here in St. Louis, MO and then I awaken in the morning to music, David Jeremiah and others speaking of love, truth and worshipping our Lord Jesus Christ! One has written a book called, THE FINGER OF GOD, and is traveling the world telling others about His miracle healings of the past that our coming even greater in the near future! The address on the Net is: www.sidroth.org and it is really a good reading on how the Holy Ghost works in the true and faith believers live! God gave me the talent of writing poetry and loooooonnnng posts, letters and etc. giving Him praise and glory in Jesus' precious, holy name! May each of us serve our Lord with gladness no matter how things are or appear to be in this old, sinful world that we live in now! But someday we all shall meet in the air and be with our blessed Savior forever and ever in God's glorious and golden city of pure love! Amen! God Bless! Betty
