Low Tide Hunting

This is a picture of the beach from this afternoon. Last week the storm surge had carved a 3 ft cut which is now filled in. Friday's tide will even be farther out than this. To you veterans does this look promising to hunt? Would you hunt in the wet sand or in the water? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

That is one large cut I am new to this but found a cut on my beach in Florida and started at the top and worked my way to the water until i quit finding items. Mother nature then replenished herself with sand and it has been slow since then.

id hunt the wet sand first...then dry....might try about ankle deep into water..but id hunt it....:detecting::clapping::minelab::thumbup:

Look for population zones then go for the water and work your way up. These Cuts>>> Here today...gone tomorrow!!

what i think i would do is work from the dry sand down to the waters edge and back up as i worked down the beach then look back at were the targets are by to holes i filled in and work that area of the beach as it is the area that has the most targets as i work down the beach if i start finding fewer target start working the zig zag pattern again to find the hot area again as it will move up or down the beach as the tide moves more/less sand in some areas as to others hope this helps some
