I don't post about many of my finds as I don't do pictures, but I did have a fun morning recovering 2 silver dimes, 1 war nickel, a red, but good detail 34 buffalo nickel and a initial monogramed navy eagle/ globe/anchor watch fob. The fob, except for the initials, is the exact same as another one I've found in the last month...and from different spots.
I had the 5" coil on and was swinging in a pretty trashy spot, lots of small bits of iron, can slaw and tons of pull tabs. And, there were some nearby power lines. I got the LTD fairly quiet in bp with 6 disc. and sen. of 75 and running 3h tones. None of the targets were deep, 4" or so, but all but 1 dime was co-located with some trash item. The 5" coil hit the good stuff well enough to dig. Ground is bone dry. HH jim tn
