It does have a little masking issue for coinshooting in the areas I like to hunt, with the stock coil, but all concentric coils do and I don't consider it a negative. It just means that the detector is working to find all possible targets in its detection range. If it didn't, then it wouldn,t be worth its weight in salt. I have a 5.3 eclipse on order, after reading the posts of the experienced users and I think that will help in some of my trashier spots.Like I said before, I'm having good luck with the M6 and stock coil for now, getting a lucky amount of silver ,which can't continue to hold up unless I can keep finding older sites that have'nt been sterilized. One thing about finding silver coins is that when its gone , it's gone and it ain't commin back. We'll never see precious metals used for currency again in this country. The m6 goes deep and hits solid ,and I'll be keeping it for a long time. Thanks for the comments, HH Richard A. in S. La.

I see that the M6 is working for you. Keep it up and happy hunting. Dennis in Idaho
