General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

As some of you know I do some work with trouble teens and occasionally I take 1 or 2 at a time metal detecting. Well there seams to be a lot of interest in a teen club. I currently work with groups as smalll as 3-4 and up to 30 depending on the function.
I recently gave a liitle seminar on metal detecting and treasure hunting and it was a huge hit. With 21 kids showing up... it was a blast. I believe I could get about a dozen or more of these kids involved in a club.
I thought they could work in teams of 2-3 people. We could research sites... get permision and then do hunts. We have hundreds of cellar pits in our area of NH. I would also do some seeded hunts to help peak thier interest.
Now for my problem... I don't have enough machines. I use mostly Highend machines and they are fine when I take out 1 or 2 at a time... I can watch and instruct... but with a large group I need something simple to operate.

I am looking for USED entry level machines.. they don't need to be mint as long as they work. I'll take most anything... Compadre's, Amigo, Garret Aces even Bounty Hunters... as long as it beeps over metal they will have fun.

I am willing to pay... I'm not looking for freebies... but I am looking for deals. If you can help drop me a line. I'm paying for this out of my own pocket... I feel that strongly about this program and others like it.

I'm trying to put something together for this spring.
