Last Sunday at Church,a woman church congregation came to me and asked for my help-She told me she lost a ring at her house that her daughter had bought her before she passed away 4 years ago;and pleaded with me to come look for it-Of course,I told her you bet I will look for it!!SO:Yesterday(Tuesday)I went out to her house with a good friend of mine that I was spending the day with.She showed me where she thought she lost it-
Down a winding path behind her house,where she dumped her lawn clippings from her lawn mower;which is where she thought she lost it 4 days before.SO:AWAY WE WENT down the path-There was LOTS of iron in the ground4-6" deep,and as I was running ALL METAL,I knew it was gonna be tough to find it.My friend,whom is not familiar with detectors,kept saying IS THAT IT???at every target-I would say NO;too deep....THEN:About 10 feet from the grass clippings pile-which was HUGE-My old Garrett 1350GTA had a ROYAL fit-My friend said"IS THAT IT"??It was right on the surface,SO we turned over a few leaves(Good thing this was before the leaves fell-We were right in the middle of the woods);AND THERE IT WAS!!!-A sterling sliver ring with semi-preciuos stones in it!!We took it back,and she was SO happy;she cried!!(My friend took a pic of the ring on his cell phone-If he sends me it,I will post it here).......THEN she said"WHAT DO I OWE YOU"???-my ANSWER??-N.A.T.-OR Not A Thing!!!Its quite a good feeling,being involved in this.
